This transfer switch-ready unit is not only a dependable power source for homes but also food truck owners and professionals can buy this generator to do their required tasks.

Emissions: You can ship this generator to all 50 American states. It is certified by both CARB (California Air Resources Board) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) as an environmentally friendly generator.

Mobility: It is a mobile unit, so users can easily move it to different locations if it is on the ground. It has everlasting 10” wheels and a foam-gripped fold-down handle for easy mobility. To lift and move the generator manually, you need to take the help of at least two more people because it is neither light in weight nor compact. Its weight is around 192 pounds, and it is 27.2” in length, 26.1” wide, and 26” in height.

Start System: Westinghouse WGen7500 starts without any efforts, thanks to its electric and remote start options. Also, the recoil option is available as an emergency backup.

Engine and Output Power: Featuring a cast-iron sleeve, the durable 420cc, 13 HP, 4-stroke Westinghouse OHV engine gives higher power output. It can deliver 120/240 Volt output and provide 9500 watts of peak power and 7500 watts of rated power.

THD Rating: Its higher THD (<23%) doesn’t make it suitable for powering sensitive electronics such as laptops, computers, mobile phones, etc.

Decibel Rating: Its operating volume is 72 dBA which makes it a little noisier than a shower.

Fuel Tank Size and Runtime: Westinghouse WGen7500 runs for up to 11 hours at half load on a 6.6-gallon steel tank featuring a fuel gauge. But at a 25% load, its runtime will go up to 16 hours.

It uses around 0.41 gallons of gasoline in an hour.

Power Receptacles: Its power panel has 5 AC outlets but no DC outlet.

There is four GFCI 120 Volt 20 Ampere (5-20R) receptacles and one transfer switch ready 120/240 Volt 30 Ampere (L14-30R) receptacle. All the receptacles are rubber covered for protection against the environment.

GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) breaks down the circuit when detecting any imbalance between the leaving and returning currents. These outlets protect users from electric shock hazards.

Users can power their household appliances, RV appliances, or 20 Ampere power tools via 5-20R receptacles. And, you can connect the generator to your home’s manual transfer switch via the L14-30R receptacle.

Also, WGen7500 is a smart switch ready generator. It features an ST Switch outlet that helps you to get automatic power from the generator. But to get this uninterrupted power, you will need to purchase the Westinghouse ST Switch separately.

VFT Meter: This LED display shows the frequency (Hertz), voltage (Volts), and total runtime (Hours) of the unit. It helps users monitor the generator’s activity and track maintenance intervals.

Safety Features: Overload protection, automatic low oil shutoff, GFCI outlets, and automatic voltage regulation are the four safety features of this generator.

You will get a stable voltage output with automatic voltage regulation. Overload protection shuts down the engine because of extra load. And low oil shutoff also turns off the engine because of low oil level.

Included Accessories: Accessories that come along with a generator include a battery charger, a spark plug wrench, a remote, an oil bottle, and an oil funnel.

Warranty: Westinghouse WGen7500 is supported by a 3-year limited (residential warranty) and a 1-year limited (commercial warranty).
