DuroMax XP12000EH dual fuel power station

Features:

Generator Type: DuroMax XP12000EH is a dual fuel conventional generator. It runs on both gasoline and propane, giving you the freedom of fuel choice. You can use this generator as a home backup power source or run power tools at a construction site.

Design: Its open-frame design, all-metal construction, and all copper windings make it a durable, reliable, and safe unit to use. Even on the roughest job sites, it stays strong and powerful.

Warranty: It comes with a 3-year warranty.

Emissions: The XP12000EH is an environmentally friendly generator as it follows the strict guidelines set by both CARB (California Air Resources Board) and EPA (Environmental Protection Agency).

Portability: It is a portable generator not because of its size and weight but because of its wheel kit and folding handle. Otherwise, its huge size and 221 pounds weight make manual lifting and transportation quite challenging.

Power Output: A 457cc, 18HP DuroMax OHV 4-stroke engine gives 12000 starting watts and 9500 running watts on gasoline. But with propane, it produces 10200 starting watts and 8075 running watts.

What it can Power: DuroMax XP12000EH is a powerful generator so that it can power small and large appliances and tools simultaneously.

You can run a 10,000BTU air conditioner, dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, slow cooker, and a set of LED lights at home.

At work, you can easily power an air compressor (1HP), grinder, bug zapper, disc sander, and a demolition hammer simultaneously.

MX2 Technology: The best feature of XP12000EH is MX2 technology. You can either operate the generator at 120 Volts with full power or both 120 Volts and 240 Volts together with this feature. A voltage selector switch is featured on the control panel that allows easy switching between voltages.

Fuel Capacity and Runtime: With a gasoline capacity of 8.3 gallons, the generator can run up to 9 hours at half load. And with a 20-pound propane tank, it offers up to 4 hours of runtime.

The XP12000EH consumes 0.92 gallons of gasoline per hour and 1.18 gallons of propane per hour.

It also has an idle control feature that reduces the engine’s RPM (speed) when no load is applied. It helps save fuel, reduces noise, and increases the lifespan of the engine.

Starting Mechanism: Pull and electric start mechanisms

Noise Level: Its noise level is 74 dB (A).

Power Outlets: Its power panel provides five AC outlets and one DC outlet.

The AC outlets include two 120 Volt 20 Ampere (5-20R) receptacles, one 120 Volt 30 Ampere (L5-30R) receptacle, one 120/240 Volt 30 Ampere (L14-30R) receptacle, and one 120/240 Volt 50 Ampere (14-50R) receptacle.

The DC outlet includes a 12 Volt 8 Ampere receptacle.

5-20R outlets are used to power household appliances. The L5-30R outlet is used to make a successful RV connection. And the L14-30R makes XP12000EH a transfer switch-ready generator. It means you can connect it to a breaker box of your house and power the appliances. And the 14-50R outlet can be used to run heavy-duty power tools at job sites.

Voltmeter: Also, there is a voltmeter that helps you to monitor the power output.

Indicator Lights: The recharge indicator tells that the battery installed is getting recharged by the generator. And the oil alert lamp turns on when the oil level is insufficient to run the engine.

Safety: DuroMax XP12000EH has surge arrest technology that protects your equipment from damages caused by brief voltage spikes on a power waveform. Also, automatic low-oil shutoff and overload protection are for the safety of your generator.
